About Lokkhi Terra Quartet
Lokkhi Terra Quartet play world jazz - from Cuban classics to Afro-beats to samba to funky world fusion. The musicians are at the core of the band Lokkhi Terra - a 12 piece which mixes traditions from around the world, using Bengali folk and groove as their starting points.
They have all performed around the world at venues ranging from Ronnie Scotts to the Royal Albert Hall to Glastonbury to Womad, with Lokkhi Terra's two albums No Visa Required, and Che Guava's Rickshaw Diaries, receiving much critical acclaim around the world.
