Sanjay has crossed many borders, physical and cultural, in pursuit of his vision - a vision of world community expressed through music. After 15 years in Los Angeles where he had the opportunity to absorb a myriad of styles and perform with a variety of artists on the most prestigious stages, he decided to come back to Mumbai in 2003. In search of his musical & cultural roots, Sanjay has spent the last two years exploring the sounds and languages of his heritage, and recording his new album. Full Circle is a musical journey with no boundaries. Virtually impossible to categorize – and absolutely essential to experience – it draws from influences ranging from folk, rock and jazz to African and Brazilian styles, with its core being an exploration of the sounds and colours of India.
